Taking us inside her dream home jess wright on getting renovation tips from brother mark and adding to her happy family

When she was thinking about moving house, Jess Wright would regularly drive by a property near where she lived with her husband William Lee-Kemp and their young son Presley, and dream of making it her home.

The detached house in a country village in Essex was close to family and friends while also offering the perfect mix of the city and country living she craved.

So when the three-storey property came on to the market, beauty and fashion influencer Jess and businessman Will put in an immediate offer that was accepted straight away.

One year on, they are opening their doors exclusively to hello! to show off their dream residence, which has only recently been finished after a renovation lasting over six months.

“It’s a really amazing feeling to be here,” Jess, 38, tells us as she shows us around their sixbedroom, four-bathroom home.

“I walk around and say to Will: ‘I can’t believe we live here.’ It’s a dream come true – I pinch myself every time I walk through the front door. And to know that we’ve achieved our new home by working hard and doing it all ourselves is wonderful.”

FAMILY FRIENDLY

The house features his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes, a “Painty Jen” hand-painted playroom for 20-month-old Presley and a “glam room” where the former The Only Way Is Essex star can get her hair and make-up done in peace – but the icing on the cake is that Jess’s famous TV family, including her presenter brother Mark and his actress wife Michelle Keegan, are just moments away.

“It’s a really good location for us,” says Will, 41. “It’s close to her mum and dad as well – they’re in the next road.”
