Hollywood’s l o o hottest luminaries ies donned their finest gowns for this year’s Critics Choice Awards and strike-delayed Primetime Emmy Awards, with ruby reds and zesty greens reigning supreme at the Los Angeles shows.

Making a strong case for chartreuse among the Emmys arrivals, Jessica Chastain, who was nominated in the Outstanding Actress in a TV Movie category for George &Tammy,, glowed in a floorlength Gucci number complete with fringe detailing. A pair of tricolour diamond earrings and a emerald ring added an extra dose of sparkle.

Exuding old-school glamour were Hannah Waddingham, Claire Danes and Quinta Brunson, who dazzled in a beaded gown, vintage Balmain and blush silk respectively.
Looking every inch a doyenne of style, Dame Joan Collins served up high-octane elegance as she enjoyed an Emmys date night with her husband of 21 years, Percy Gibson. Dazzling in a shimmering sequinned gown teamed with a pair of matching opera gloves, the Dynasty star presented the award for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series with The Color Purple star Taraji P Henson.
