HOW A HOST OF A-LIST STARS ARE FOLLOWING THE PRINCESS OF STYLE
The Princess of Wales is one of the most influential fashion icons in the world, with almost every outfit she wears famously selling out in seconds and her favourite brands enjoying a powerful boost.
However, it’s not just royal fans who try to emulate Kate’s sartorial prowess – a starry collection of A-listers seem to have been taking notes from her, too. Taylor Swift has become the latest celebrity channelling royal style, echoing Kate’s daring Bafta look from 2023 and joining the ranks of the red carpet’s best-dressed by stepping out in looks fit for a (future) Queen.

Effortlessly chic in a flowing Alessandra Rich polka-dot dress, Suits star Abigail got wedding-guest style spot on (right) when she attended co-star Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor Castle in May 2018. The actress was fashionablyably in sync with Kate, who opted for the same piece, e with its oversized white collar and front slit, for the then Prince of Wales’s 70th birthday family portraits the same year and again (left) the following May.

TAYLOR SWIFT
Always a style winner, Taylor wowed on the Grammys red carpet (above) in a sweeping white Schiaparelli gown paired with black opera gloves. It was a strikingly similar look to the upcycled Alexander e McQueen e asymmetric gown and gloves Kate wore to attend last year’s Bafta Film Awards (left) – a bold choice that won her fashion plaudits at the time. Both gave the ensemble their own stamp, however, with Taylor layering up Lorraine Schwartz diamond necklaces, while Kate wore gold statement t e t earrings from Zara.
CAREY MULLIGAN
Carey and the Princess had their own twinning moment when they both stunned in the same plaid number by Erdem. Maestro star Carey was the first to wear the dress to an awards ceremony in 2017 (above), before Kate put her own twist t on it a year later ( right ) , accessorising with a plum belt and a black clutch bag to visit the V&A Museum in London’s South Kensington in October 2018.
