There’s always a sense of magic when Strictly Come Dancing’s ’ professional dancers get together. But when HELLO! joins the glittering troupe as it prepares to head out on tour, it seems there’s also plenty of love in the air, with the dancers telling us about the special people behind the scenes who put an extra spring in their step.
From Dianne Buswell, who found romance on the show with YouTuber Joe Sugg six years ago, to Nikita Kuzmin, who declares he has found the love of his life in model Lauren Jaine, the pros are supported by an important line-up of partners off the dancefloor.
And their loved ones will be cheering them on as they travel the country this month for the annual Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals UK Tour.
As the glittering troupe prepare to head out on tour, there’s plenty of love in the air
When Dianne joins us for an exclusive chat between rehearsals, she tells us that she and Joe have been the perfect team since falling in love on the show in 2018.

“It feels as though Joe has always been in my life,” says the Australian dancer, whose partner joined her to celebrate her 35th birthday this week between shows.
“It feels as though we’ve been together forever. We’re so comfortable with each other that it’s now Joe and Dianne, not just Dianne, and that just feels right.
“It feels so normal now – I completely forget that we met on Strictly,” she says with a laugh. “I came across one of Joe’s old vlogs from our second week; it blew my mind to see us rehearsing for the show, and now we’re here, six years later. It’s funny to have that record of how we started.”
Another dancer who has the Strictly family to thank for her romance is Karen Hauer, whose fellow pro and long-time friend Gorka Márquez introduced her to her now-boyfriend Simon Davidson.
