AFTER THEIR LOVING DISPLAY AT TROOPING

INSIDE THE MOTHER AND DAUGHTER’S SPECIAL BOND

Standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for Trooping the Colour, the Princess of Wales was every inch the doting mother as she gazed adoringly at her children.

But it was her tender moments with her only daughter Princess Charlotte and their public display of affection that touched those watching the royal family’s traditional annual appearance for the King’s official birthday.

Kate lovingly stroked Charlotte’s long hair and arranged it down her back, giving an insight into their warm, tight-knit relationship.

CLOSE RELATIONSHIP

“Kate and Charlotte have a unique bond and that stands out,” says royal photographer Samir Hussein, who captured the heartwarming moment on camera. “There was a lot of interaction between them.

“Kate put her arms on Charlotte’s shoulders and she was looking down lovingly to check on her all the time and playing with her hair at times. Charlotte just looked so sweet and they both looked so happy and natural together.”

They are a very, very close family, which is something the late Queen really liked and thought would play into Kate’s hands and the position that she was getting into.

“She had such a stable family and I think that’s what Kate’s trying to replicate.”

Mother and daughter’s closeness even extends to their wardrobe, with the pair co-ordinating at Trooping – Kate in Jenny Packham with a Ph
