Heritage Land Rover Magazine
1 September 2023

The first issue of Heritage Land Rover has been extremely well received – and with what’s in the second, we’re confident that it will be too. Headline features include a restored Wood and Pickett Range Rover once owned by one of the best known names in pop – and an in-depth interview with the man behind the Last Overland expedition from Singapore to London. Elsewhere, we’ve got a stunning set of images from the Dakar Classic, illustrating the group of Series IIA that took part on the second running of the historic rally in the Saudi desert. We’ve got the story of an expedition from South Africa to England, too, aboard a convoy of historic Landies which went on to be auctioned for charity. And that’s not all. Converting a classic Land Rover to electric drive is a brave thing to do, but we’ve looked at the demo unit from a British company that’s trying to make it accessible at real-world money. We’re looking at a trio of restored-with-a-twist vehicles from a company that specialises in making old Landies better than new, as well as a very early 90 that crossed the Atlantic before getting restified American-style. We’ve got profiles on iconic products for Series trucks and beyond, evocative images of Land Rovers out and about in the world and, if it all gets you wanting to take the plunge, a buyers’ guide to every kind of classic. Heritage Land Rover is a high-quality publication, produced on sumptuous art paper – it’s the publication the best Land Rovers deserve!
