Amy is tricked into having lunch with her mum’s new boyfriend this week – leaving her torn between her warring parents!
In the wake of Steve and Tracy’s ugly split, Amy is invited to have lunch with her mum, but arrives to find her mum’s fling Tommy there.
As Tracy tries to force everyone to get along, Amy makes her feelings clear – yet how will Steve feel to know his daughter is dining with the enemy?
“In Amy’s eyes this lunch is a betrayal,” declares our Weatherfield insider. “The last thing she wants to do is play happy families with her mum’s latest squeeze while her dad is still devastated. But will she grow to like Tommy over time?”
Having supported her heartbroken dad when Tracy’s affair with Tommy became public knowledge, Amy is reluctant to even give her mum the time of day. So, when Tracy begs her daughter to meet her for lunch in the Bistro, Amy begrudgingly agrees.
However, Amy is livid when their mother-daughter lunch is hijacked by the decorator and former football hero. Eager for Tommy and Amy to get to know each other, Tracy had this planned all along, hoping to build bridges. But unforgiving Amy has other ideas…
