Sharon is forced to relive her grief for Keanu this week, as her dead lover’s funeral finally takes place.
Her concern also grows for Linda, who drunkenly loses it when confronted with the stark reminder of her Christmas Day crime! Could the guilt get too much and push her to reveal who really killed Keanu?
“Dean may have gone down, but the nightmare continues for The Six!” gasps our EastEnders insider. “Sharon hasn’t even told Albie that Keanu has died, so has some explaining to do once the locals gather to say a proper goodbye! And ticking time-bomb Linda turns to an old friend – the bottle…”
Linda is already struggling to keep it together with Father’s Day looming, another painful reminder of how much she misses her beloved Mick. Elaine and Johnny decide to cheer her up by planning a Father’s Day event in the pub to celebrate the dads of Walford – including the ones only there in spirit.
It’s a sweet idea, but Linda’s enthusiasm evaporates when Bernie calls round with a sombre request: Keanu’s funeral is taking place later in the week, and she wants the wake in the Vic!
“Elaine agrees, thinking she’s doing a good deed for a neighbour, oblivious to the impact this development has on her daughter,” points out our snoop. “How can Linda move on from bumping off a bloke when his wake is being held at the scene of the crime?”
