“Get the bunting out and the streamers ready – it’s the final part of your super-fun Party Animals crochet-along! For your last instalment I’ve used the colourful Wildflower kit to design a snake, a deer and a lion – and what a merry trio they make! The shades in the kit were perfect for such a jolly project. As with all handmade items, finishing is key, and pinning everything in place first is a great way to ensure you are happy with the placement of your make before you sew it together. I hope you’ve enjoyed this three-part project as much as I’ve loved designing it!”

Using 4mm hook and Lush Green make a magic ring, work 6dc into ring. Six sts

Rnd 1: (1dc, 2dc in next st) to end. Nine sts

Rnd 4: 1dc in each st to end Insert 6mm safety eyes between Rnds 2-3 with five sts in between
