She has used both her fame and fortune to support numerous causes including children’s health and literacy, and the environment. This Dolly doll is crocheted using easy double crochet stitches, but there are a couple of extra techniques to help give a pro finish – take a look at the Special Abbreviations and info panel before you begin.

ABOUT THE YARN
BLO: back loop only
bobble stitch: * yarn over hook, insert hook in stitch, yarn over hook and draw through stitch, yarn over hook again and pull through first two loops on hook only, rep from * four times more in same st (six loops on hook), yarn over hook and draw through all six loops. Push bobble through to RS if needed
dc2tog: (invisible method) insert hook in front loop of next stitch then into front loop of following stitch, one at a time. Yarn over hook and draw it through both front loops in one go. Yarn over hook and draw through the two remaining loops on hook
Fasten off invisibly: fasten off, then thread yarn tail onto a tapestry needle and insert needle from back of work underneath top v of second stitch along edge and into top v of last stitch made to cover knot from fasten-off
ABOUT THE YARN
Any DK yarn would be suitable for this pattern but a soft, matte cotton yarn will give the best finish. Head to your local yarn shop to see what’s in store.

LEGS, BODY AND HEAD First Leg
Using 2.5mm hook and yarn A, make a magic ring
