With the iCloud web portal, you can access your apps and files on any web browser

FIRST THINGS FIRST. On a Mac, open System Settings/Preferences, and click [your name] > iCloud, and turn on “Access iCloud Data on the Web”. On a mobile device, in Settings, tap [your name] > iCloud and do the same. This makes your data available on iCloud.com.

But what is iCloud.com? In a nutshell, it’s a web portal for your iCloud and iCloud Drive services. When you open the website and sign on using your Apple ID, you see a series of tiles. These give access to your data. Click the Photos tile, for example, and you can review and manage your iCloud Photos, just like you can from the Photos app. iCloud Mail lets you send and receive emails from your iCloud email address, and there are tiles for iCloud Drive and Notes too. An app’s tile lets you open applications such as Calendar, Notes, Mail, Contacts, Reminders and more, with your information already synced.
