Mojang released what it’s called the biggest update to Minecraft Legends since the game first launched – and we’re not going to disagree! The update is available to download now, and it’s got a lot of fun stuff in it
WITCH POWER
A brand new unit in the update is the witch, and they have plenty of tricks that might come in handy. The thing to most bear in mind is how they throw potions – and when they land, poison is applied to every unit in the surrounding area.
Witches require witch huts to spawn, and whilst they appear as part of a village, they do take a little bit of work to unlock. Until the witches trust you, you can’t use them!
With witches too come cauldrons, which have also been thrown into the mix. Cauldrons are special structures in the game, and any mobs on their side who happen to be in the vicinity will benefit from increased damage and attacks with knockback.
PIGLINS
It’s not just potential friends that have had an upgrade, though: the piglins have a few more tactics at their disposal.
The piglin clanger in particular is one to look out for. Its attack isn’t fatal, but instead, it knocks back and stuns mobs. They don’t do a lot of damage, but they have a lot of speed on their side. As part of an attack strategy, they can be lethal.
