Five years ago, I had a major operation on my spine, as I was slowly losing the use of my legs. I was told I wouldn’t be able to mountain bike or ride my motorbike again, which left me a bit hacked off. However, once I was on the road to recovery, I found that riding my bike was actually a great way to re-strengthen my legs, and the best form of physio I could do – despite what the doctors told me! As a homage to getting back on my bike and the fact I love reading your magazine and Mint Sauce, I’ve had a tattoo done on my leg. Hope you like it!
