● Kids of today couldn’t survive if they were born, like I was, in the ’80s. They’ve got two shower heads and stuff like that! Back in my day when I had a shower, the two shower options I had were suck-on rubber tubes on the taps and, before that, filling a bowl with hot and cold water and dashing the bowl all over me.

Then you upgraded to the rubber things. But when you showered with that, you could only shower at a certain level.

Sometimes you’d stand up but then the water would stop because it couldn’t go up, and you’d have to go back down again!

● Our bodies are all different shapes and sizes.

You might not be where you want to be now with your body but it doesn’t mean you can’t get there. You shouldn’t beat yourself up. Instead, be honest with yourself and work with what you have until you can make the changes that you need. I wear clothes that suit my shape not just fit my size, and I get myself some damn good support wear. Learn to suck, tuck and roll!

● You cannot judge a book by its cover. I discovered that during the filming of Out Of Order, the comedy gameshow I’m in with Rosie Jones and Katharine Ryan.

The main theme of the show is about judging characters and getting to know them. It’s really refreshing to see three female comedians at the helm of a comedy gameshow.
