Double Rescue
Rescuing these two has brought a new lease of life. Thank you, Dotty and Lucky. I’m glad I could give you a new home – and you rescued me.

The Bus Dad Built?
This bus was manufactured in the 1960s at Walter Alexanders in Camelon, Falkirk, at about the same time as my dad worked there. He might even have helped to build this bus. This photo shows the moment I realise that, sadly, a career as a bus driver isn’t for me as, at four foot ten, my legs are too short to reach the pedals!

Hitting The Slopes
My son and his wife are currently enjoying a snowboarding break at the Beidahu in Jilin, China. My son is on the left and his wife is in green. Such a colourful photo!

Time To Celebrate
I love all things Irish - the traditional music, the people, the “craic” – and I was quite pleased with my attempt at making this cake for St Patrick’s Day, too.

Shady Birdies
I spotted this beautiful pair of Egyptian Geese on a recent visit to Leeds Castle in Kent. The unusual markings around their eyes look as if they’re wearing sunglasses!

Waiting For A Bite
My mum Tina spotted this lone fisherman on the shores of the lake. She decided he needed a hug. He wasn’t very responsive, though!

Long Live Eddie!
As you can see, a bit of rain didn’t stop my Auntie Annabelle’s cute dog, Eddie, having a fun time! He loves playing “King of the Castle” and always finds the biggest rock to climb up and look down on us. Here, Eddie is sticking his tongue out at us, so I am guessing he must think we are the “dirty raccals” because of course Eddie will always be the king of the Castle – he wins every time!
