BUT WHO WATCHES THE SPY ?

THE SPY The Spy is preparing for a long wait.

The Spy has spared no expense in commissioning a crack team of data analysts, scientists and AI researchers. It’s been very costly, to the point that The Spy has had to open up this page for a sponsorship deal in order to recoup some funds. But the results speak for themselves. Thanks to their work, The Spy can confirm that the first GTA VI trailer has been released.

You, a fool, probably saw the trailer and took at face value that it was real. But The Spy requires higher standards of proof. Over the years, The Spy has seen fake leaks, real leaks, and wild speculation. Everything from fans trying to discern an announcement from the phases of the Moon, to clickbaithungry media brands shouting “leak” when Snoop Dogg said that some of Dr Dre’s new music was “connected to the GTA game that’s coming out” – a claim that turned out to be referring to GTA Online.

With this confirmation, though, The Spy finally feels comfortable taking a long sip of Mr Hannigans’ Beetroot-Style Drink Substitute – “All of the pulp, none of the taste” – and engaging in some speculation. The one piece of information we know for sure is that GTA VI is scheduled for a 2025 release on PS5 and the Xboxes. From that we can extrapolate that GTA VI is not scheduled for a 2025 release on PC. The press release sent out alongside the trailer made no mention of PC at all, which is pretty typical of Rockstar.

BEETROOT DRINK

So when will GTA VI release on PC? The Spy asked the data analysts, and they just shrugged and went back to chugging the free bottles of the beetroot drink The Spy was sent as part of the sponsorship deal. No help. But there are nonetheless some conclusions to be drawn. The Spy fully expects GTA VI to arrive in the first quarter of 2025, in part because of comments Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick made to investors earlier this year.
