Spring is on the way – instead of banishing your winter coats to the back of the wardrobe, why not donate them instead?
Age UK is calling on people to donate a coat for their Spread the Warmth campaign – encouraging us to take coats we no longer wear along with any other unwanted warm clothing to one of its shops across England and Wales, to help older people stay warm.
Funds raised from the campaign will help Age UK to continue providing crucial services, like its free national Advice line, Telephone Friendship Service and The Silver Line Helpline, to those who are struggling.

W ho needs Las Vegas?! Iconic megastars Beyoncé and Lady Gaga are setting up at none other than Blackpool for their next residency.
That’s right – you can see the global superstars in their full waxy glory at Madame Tussauds Blackpool.
The award-winning warblers have joined a plethora of A-listers from stage and screen in the attraction’s Awards Party zone.
It takes around 800 hours and a team of 25 artists to sculpt just one wax figure – including 350 hours to sculpt the figure, 187 hours to insert a head of hair and 30 hours to make a set of teeth.
