SH: Our distinctive Land Rover was decommissioned in 1993 having served in the armed forces. I found the heroes who had been using it in action too, via a Facebook group. We were chuffed and so were they, as I think to some people, these are truly life saving vehicles. I originally bought it to run around the lanes close to where I live, but being ex-services myself, getting it properly restored and back in action seemed the right thing to do, as it’s an important vehicle. PL: We do a lot of charity events in the Land Rover and it’s always very popular - it certainly catches the eye and imagination of the public! The machine gun tends to raise eyebrows when you’re out and about. You never get drawn into road rage incidents, for sure!
