28 Eye Kettleby Lakes

Phil Russell

A past overall winner in our Top 100 Sites Guide, this site is packed with fantastic facilities, but the prospect of nine coarse fishing lakes remains its star attraction.

These include two specimen carp lakes, six mixed coarse fishing lakes and a private lake for lodge residents. Day tickets are available.

The clubhouse also has a bar and tearoom, open to day visitors as well as guests. Reception is in a separate area; it's here that you can book for fishing (and tuition if you need it).
