SUMMER SIP
![](images/img_111-9.jpg)
My sound of the summer is cubes of ice clinking in a glass of something fizzy. It’s even better when what follows is a sip of the new deliciously zesty Sicilian Blood Orange Lemonade from Belvoir Farm. Best known for its elderflower cordials and pressés, Belvoir has taken a more citrussy approach for its latest launch, which balances home-made lemonade freshness with a slightly fancier hint of bitter blood orange. It’s low on sugar, too – great news if you’re watching your intake.

I love a handy paste to amp up the flavour in a simple meal, and my pick of new products is Belazu’s Flavour Hacks – in particular the Roasted Garlic paste. Made with grilled Spanish garlic cloves, it’s magic stirred through slow-roasted tomatoes with torn fresh basil for an easy pasta sauce, shaken with extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice for a quick salad dressing, or spooned into mayonnaise to make a moreish dip.
