TABLECLOTH WEIGHTSSTRAWBERRY (MAKE 4)

Cast on 4 sts using Yarn A and 3.5mm DPNs. Do not turn, slide stitches to right of needle. The working yarn will be coming from the 4th st.

Row 1 Knit. Do not turn, slide stitches to right of needle. Rep until your icord measures 8cm.

Next row Slide the sts from one end of the DPN to the other, the working yarn will be coming from the 4th st.

Next row K2, kfb, K1. [5 sts] Next row Purl.

Next row (Kfb) to end. [10 sts] Next row Purl.

Next row (K1, kfb) to end. [15 sts] Next row (Pfb, P2) to end. [20 sts] Next row (K3, kfb) to end. [25 sts] Next row (Pfb, P4) to end. [30 sts] Join Yarn B and work in stranded knitting.

Next row (K5A, K1B) to end.

Next row P2B, (P3A, P3B) to last 4 sts, P3A, P1B.

Next row K2B, (K1A, K5B) to last 4 sts, K1A, K3B. Break Yarn A and continue with Yarn B.

Next row (Pfb, P5) to end. [35 sts] Next row Knit.

Next row Purl.

Next row (K2tog, K5) to end. [30 sts]

Next row Purl.

Next row Knit.

Next row Purl.

Next row (K2tog, K4) to end. [25 sts] Next row Purl.

Next row Knit.

Next row (P3, p2tog) to end. [20 sts] Next row Knit.

Next row Purl.

Next row (K2tog, K2) to end. [15 sts] Next row Purl.

Next row (K2tog, K1) to end. [10 sts] Next row Purl.

Next row (K2tog) to end. [5 sts] Break yarn and thread through rem sts. Pull tight to fasten.

FINISHING

Using Yarn C sew some small seeds to the Strawberry, using the pictures for reference.

MAKING UP

With fastened-off yarn, sew the seam half way and fill with stuffing as you go. Add the stone or marble about half way up. Finish joining the seam and continue stuffing as you go. Weave in any loose ends. Tie the stem in a knot, slip the hook of the curtain clip through the knot and sew in place.
