TRANSFER THE DESIGN
Step one Trace the design onto the stabiliser and cut around it, leaving roughly 1.5cm around each edge. Work out where you want the words to be stitched, and then peel off the backing paper and stick it onto the t-shirt. Place the inner ring of your hoop inside the t-shirt, position it around the design, place the outer hoop on top and tighten gently. Make sure that you only have the front of the t-shirt in the hoop, and that you haven’t pulled it out of shape. 01
STITCH THE DESIGN
Step one Thread a needle with three strands of the light pale yellow thread , and stitch around the edges of the letter with small backstitches. Using the same colour (and same number of strands), stitch the shadow of the letter using satin stitch. The satin stitches should diagonally follow the direction of the shadow of the lettering. 02
