I’ve tried so many facials but the only thing that works for me is the derma roller. That’s the roller with all the needles. I’ve been doing that for 15 years and I swear by it. I have somebody come to the house though because to get a really good treatment you need a nurse to do it. She comes in and numbs me, although I do still feel it. The needles are very long and it’s scary when she’s grinding them in! She’s like: “I want to see blood, sister!” My whole face is red for about a day, but it’s the best of all the facials I’ve tried. It works by triggering the body’s healing response and collagen production. I have it on my face, neck and chest as I’m a California girl and have been sunbathing my entire life.

I’ve seen a massive difference in my skin, it’s like day and night. But you don’t get an immediate result, it takes some time. After a few months you wake up and see a freshness in your skin. And then if you maintain it once a month, the results stay.

I do a bit of Botox but not a crazy amount – the last time was about four months ago. And I definitely don’t do fillers. I tried it once in the tear trough area under my eyes but I looked like a blowfish! It was the most disgusting, awful thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I’ll take the wrinkles over that. I had the filler taken out straight away but it made the skin really crinkly and ruined the texture. It eventually repaired itself, thankfully.

I have intravenous NAD+ to help me look and feel great. I also have a cocktail of glutathione, vitamins C and D, zinc, B vitamins, minerals – everything. I have that done once a month here at home – everything done in one go and it takes two and a half hours. After that I feel like a million bucks. That’s why I do it.

I find you get to a certain age, and you need help. You can’t look great and not be doing loads of health and beauty treatments.

And I’ve never had this much hair before – it’s so thick and it’s not extensions. I attribute this to the NAD+ and the glutathione as that’s the only thing I do differently. I know it’s costly to do them and I am very fortunate. But there’s also a powder version, which is more affordable. It’s called NMN, which converts to NAD+ in your body. I use it as well as the injections of NAD+. Just a tiny scoop in water is all you need, and I have it on its own. It goes straight to your mitochondria, the little power houses of the cells, so it’s rejuvenating you at a cellular level. I also take good old-fashioned vitamin C, zinc and iron – I’m a vitamin
