If you’re looking for a selection of stunning modified BMWs, you’ve found them because our July issue is crammed full of awesome builds. We’ve got our cover car, one of the many cars that BMW never built and which owners have been DIYing to fulfil their fast estate needs. This E39 M5 Touring is faster than most, thanks to its supercharger kit, and meaner than most, thanks to those fat arches, and it’s just a beast of a build. We’ve also got a hardcore E46 M3 track machine that ticks all the boxes you could want, and it’s simply superb. For those of you with an eye for flair out there, we bring you a dazzling M235i that’s been bagged and wrapped and treated to a selection of seriously tasty mods on top of that. And for the classic-lovers among you, we’ve got two awesome retro BMs to enjoy. There’s an E21 that started life as a 323i and has been treated to a period-correct modding program that’s got it in the best shape of its life, and there’s now a 2.9-litre M20 under the bonnet. And we also have an E30 318is that might have undergone the most comprehensive restoration we’ve ever seen, sprinkled with a few mods along the way, of course. And on top of all that we’ve got all the usual extras, like a buying guide to the E8x 135i, a tech Q&A with Liqui Moly, and plenty more to enjoy.
