A GREAT READ

My husband bought me a copy of woman&home to read while I isolated with COVID. I’d never read it before, but I couldn’t put it down. I read every single article – normally I thumb through a magazine and only read certain articles. Not this magazine. I was so impressed. I can’t wait to pass it on to my daughter, who I know will enjoy reading it just as much. Thank you for brightening up my recovery.

The article Phone a Friend – It Might Make Their Day [September] prompted me to pick up the phone, and I remembered how much nicer it is to chat to people rather than send messages. I will now make a conscious effort to call friends and family – and hopefully they will reciprocate. Thanks!

GOING THE DISTANCE

What an inspiration the Modern-Day Nomads [August] are. Having the courage to make such a change is wonderful. Some of us dip a toe into travelling for a week or two – or even for a month or two. Leaving a few heavy shackles behind must free the body and soul. Well done to them.

SEXUAL HEALING

Anna Richardson’s advice [November] resonated with me. My husband and I are in our 70s and I’d lost my sex drive. I spoke to my doctor, who prescribed Testogel, and our sex life has greatly improved.

PRESSURE POINT

The Ask Anna column [November] has me riled. She states that ‘sex in a relationship is the glue that binds you, the bond that defines your husband as your partner.’ A good relationship does not rely on sex. There are other ways to express love, and this puts too much pressure on women.
