Louise Redknapp is back and better than ever, but one of her sons isn’t too happy with her latest antics. The star, 48, who shares Charley, 18, and Beau, 14, with ex Jamie, 49, admitted that while the boys are proud of her revived career, her lack of clothes leaves one unimpressed. ‘My older one laughs it off now,’ she said. ‘The 14-year-old doesn’t… my last video, he said, “It’s nice to see you fully clothed in this video.” I’d never do anything they’d be really embarrassed by, it’s all banter.’ If you’ve got it, flaunt it, Lou!
Strictly line-up REVEALED?
We may have a few months to wait until the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, but potential contestants for the 21st series are already being lined up. Loose Women’s Sophie Morgan is said to be on the cusp of signing a deal that would make her the first wheelchair user to compete on the BBC show. The star, 38, who was paralysed at the age of 18, would follow other pioneering contestants including Rose Ayling-Ellis and Ellie Simmonds. A source said, ‘She is very glamorous so will look amazing in the costumes, she already has a huge fan base and is a huge advocate of using her platform to promote inclusivity.’
Another potential contestant is Emmerdale’s Amy Nuttall, 40, who recently split from her actor husband, Andrew Buchan. A source revealed, ‘Amy has been left broken by Andrew’s actions and feels humiliated by the whole ordeal. Strictly would hopefully restore the confidence she is lacking right now.’
Meanwhile, Strictly bosses are also hoping to cast a celeb couple, who will go head to head, in the 2023 series – with presenter Emma Willis, 47, and her singer husband, Matt, 39, among names they’d like to bag. An insider said, ‘Strictly are desperate to get a couple and Emma and Matt were in negotiations for the last series… Strictly would love to have them back on board and Emma and Matt have said if they can make it work they would jump at the chance.’ They added, ‘Bosses are always looking at ways to keep the format fresh and loved the idea of a couple competing against one another.’ It’s certainly one way to increase competition!
