Mysterious migraines

Do your headaches seem to come on at the same time every day? Perhaps you thought they were caused by an activity or food? It’s actually more likely that they’re happening like clockwork. A new review of studies* found that 71% of cluster headaches and 50% of migraines followed a circadian pattern, meaning they were linked to the body’s internal clock. Cluster headaches, which often feel like pain in one side of the face around the eye, were more likely to occur overnight and in spring and autumn, while migraines were most common between late morning and early evening.
