Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach, has been keeping us all on our healthy toes with his energetic workouts and nutritious meals for nearly 10 years. The 38-year-old dad-of-three also kept our spirits up during lockdown with his online ‘PE With Joe’ classes. He donated all the profits to the NHS, eventually raising £500,000. We gave him one of his toughest challenges yet with Woman’s 10 Burning Questions!

1 How old were you when you had your first kiss and what was it like?

I must have been about 12 or 13 and it was at a roller disco in Epsom on a Saturday afternoon. The girl was a little older, maybe 14 or 15, so she definitely led the way on that one. I think the kiss was OK, but probably not the best one I’ve ever had.

2 What’s your pet peeve?

People who get road rage. I can’t stand it when someone gets aggy and starts honking their horn because they’re in a rush. I’m like, ‘Where are you going?’ Or if they dangerously overtake you so they can get in front of you by one car. I ride motorbikes as well and I often get people trying to race me or get in front of me. I think, ‘What’s the point?’ All they’ve done is wound themselves up.

3 Can you remember what was the last argument you got into?

Probably with my wife Rosie about something silly. Me and Rosie don’t scream and shout, but we’re both really stubborn and we’ll ignore each other for a couple of days. It’s pathetic, but we’re learning and we’re trying to break down our defence mechanisms so we can deal with things a little bit sooner and have a hug and forget about it. When I’m angry, I end up having an argument in my head with her that never even happens, but we are getting better. I think you evolve as you get older, don’t you?

4 Have you ever had a celebrity crush?

I would have to say Rosie Jones, who is now Rosie Wicks. I know it sounds well cheesy but Rosie was a Page Three model before I met her. She was always in lads’ mags like Nuts and Zoo when I was at uni, so I really fancied her in my late teens and early 20s. I was a big fan. I had a crush on her for about eight years and then she became my wife. She’s still my ultimate crush and that’s a true story. 5

5 If you were invisible or not famous for a day, what would you do?

I’d probably want to sneak into someone’s house and be nosy. I’d like to be a fly on the wall at [comedian] Mickey
