FERN ‘I’m done with love’
There’s no denying Fern Britton looks incredible at the moment. After the CBB star’s glow-up, she should be feeling more confident than ever. But Fern has admitted she’s not self-assured enough to get back on the dating scene. In fact, she’s even sworn off sex!
The former This Morning presenter, who has been single since she split with her husband of 20 years, Phil Vickery, four years ago, admitted, ‘I don’t want to fall in love again... I’m not dating. There’s an awful lot I’d like to know about myself first and to know I am ready to be looking.’ Fern, 66, added, ‘I never want to live with anybody again. I like my own space.’ Following her marriage breakdown, when discussing her teenage years, Fern said of her self-imposed sex ban, ‘I wasn’t into sex at that particular time. I’m not much now either, but anyway!’
Previously, the author, who has been married twice, confessed, ‘I am enjoying not having to share life with somebody else.’ She’s also insisted that nobody’s going to see her ‘undressed again’.
Meanwhile, a source revealed that Fern’s split from Phil has put her off relationships. ‘It made her lose trust in men because they were together for 20 years,’ they said, adding, ‘When the relationship broke down, it was a really difficult time for her.’
DAVINA: ‘WHY I WON’T GO ON BIG BROTHER’
Former Big Brother host Davina McCall has revealed the real reason she doesn’t fancy being a housemate herself. The Masked Singer judge confessed, ‘One of the reasons I have never gone into Celebrity Big Brother, since I have stopped presenting it, is because I don’t want people to see all of me.’ Davina, 56, added, ‘There are bits of me I probably wouldn’t like if I saw it on television, or I might react in a way I didn’t appreciate. What’s frustrating is that you look at it and you think, “Oh, the editing,” but it’s unedited. We film 24/7, but it’s the bits of yourself you don’t like so much you see and you think, “Ugh.”’
