Dazzling at the National Television Awards

Whether she’s rocking up to her day job at Good Morning Britain or dazzling on the red carpet at glitzy television events, there’s no doubt that Susanna Reid looks amazing at the moment. The 51-year-old has found herself busier than ever in the last few years – even saying she’s decided to turn down extra work in order to be able to be around more for the teenage boys she shares with ex-partner Dominic Cotton. However, the determined star has managed to shift the lockdown pounds and has been spotted looking trim recently – revealing that she’s now lost her lockdown weight again.

CUTTING OUT SNACKS

Waking up at 4am for work every day means that Susanna finds her eating habits can be unpredictable. The star has said, ‘It can creep up without you noticing, and so I cut out snacking. I found waking up so early in the morning means you’re in a sort of energy deficit.’ She added, ‘All your body can think of is to have toast, have biscuits, have calories, and you can pile [weight] on really quickly.’ Instead, the star has been seen munching on peanut butter and apples on the GMB set, while she admits to trying to opt for healthier options once she’s off screen. Susanna explained, ‘I toast a bit of rye bread and have it with poached egg a
