Kate & Wills’ PLANS FOR LOUIS

In an bid to prevent history from repeating itself, the Prince and Princess of Wales are working on a plan to ensure that their youngest, Prince Louis, doesn’t slip into his brother’s shadow. Royal expert Angela Mollard explained that the four-year-old prince will take part in his grandfather King Charles III’s coronation next month so that he feels included and to prevent the heir versus spare narrative that has tarnished his dad and uncle’s relationship.

Angela said, ‘The whole brand of the Waleses is very much, “We’re a family, we do it all together. We do not want an offshoot like Harry in the future.”’ She continued, ‘[They’re] going to make sure that Louis has a memory of the coronation, so when his big brother takes on that role, he and Charlotte are there to support him.’

The move comes after Tom Quinn, author of Scandals of the Royal Palaces: An Intimate Memoir of Royals Behaving Badly, said that as the ‘double spare’ – behind both Prince George and Princess Charlotte – Louis risks feeling like a ‘lost soul’. But Kate and Williams’ guidance should help keep Louis in check. Tom explained, ‘I think because the Royal Family is now so aware of the mistakes that they’ve made in the past, especially with bringing up children, I think they will make enormous efforts to make sure that Louis doesn’t feel like a lost soul.’

From his performance at last year’s Platinum Jubilee we already know Louis has a mischievous side like his uncle, and no one wants to lose that cheeky lad to the other side of the pond!

The 63-year-old explained, ‘[My daughter] Rosie’s been getting me to do more of a beauty regime recently, but I think I’m lucky to have good genes.’ She continued, ‘Eamonn Holmes always says to me, “You and I are lucky that we have wee round faces because there are no wrinkles on a balloon!”’

Lorraine’s stance on going under the knife is clear: ‘I think the women who age the best are the ones who haven’t had any work done – or only the bare minimum.’ And she added, ‘Having surgery is like jazzing up your living room. You start by getting new curtains, then the carpet looks shabby, so you change that, then the sofa doesn’t fit. Soon enough, you don’t recognise
