Coleen TEARS OVER SISTER SNUB
She often wears her heart on her sleeve, so it’s no surprise that Coleen Nolan couldn’t hold back the waterworks recently when discussing the side effects of one of her infamous family feuds. Wiping away tears, Loose Women star Coleen, 58, explained that a fall-out with two of her sisters meant that they snubbed her 2007 nuptials to Ray Fensome. The mum-of-three explained, ‘It was the time when we’d fallen out and they missed my wedding, my two sisters.’ She continued, ‘It was really difficult. What was really sad is that my nieces were bridesmaids. They missed the wedding and they missed seeing their children be bridesmaids.’ The star didn’t specify which of her four sisters missed her wedding, but her previous fall-outs with older siblings Anne, 72, and Denise, 71, have been well documented. Despite her sadness, Coleen went on to state, ‘It was the right decision at the time as you don’t want any animosity on your wedding, or any big event.’ Thankfully, the sisters have since made up, but Coleen is clearly still dealing with hurt over the past. But, the star managed to put on a brave face and make light of the situation. Alluding to her 2018 split with Ray, she joked, ‘It’s alright, they were there for the divorce… It was a much better party.’ You can’t choose your family, Coleen, but you can choose your husbands!
Phil SLAMMED BY FAMOUS FACE
His return to This Morning after an extended break was blighted for presenter Phillip Schofield, 61, as the star was accused of ‘intimidating behaviour’ by a famous politician. The accusation came from MP Nadine Dorries, who starred on I’m A Celebrity in 2012. Speaking about her experience meeting him, she revealed, ‘I’ve been interviewed by Holly and Phillip several times, and off-camera found Holly an absolute delight and Mr Schofield rather up himself. On one occasion, I witnessed what appeared to be somewhat intimidating behaviour.’ Nadine, 65, added, ‘Holly was away, and as her stand-in looked down at her script — obviously wanting to see who or what was coming up next — Phillip glared at her and began to jab at her script with his finger. I don’t know about her, but he scared me.’ Phil has yet to comment on the claims.
