Katherine‘I’D LOVE TO BE A LOOSE WOMAN’
In recent months ITV’s Loose Women has been switching up the panel and introducing new faces. So could comedian and TV presenter Katherine Ryan be the show’s latest addition?
After working closely with Judi Love on their new ‘really funny and really inappropriate’ show Out Of Order, she certainly thinks so. When Woman’s Own caught up with the Canadian star, 40, she told us, ‘I like working with Judi, I love her. I’m obsessed with Judi Love! I really admire her and she’s a dream to work with.’ Katherine continued, ‘I should be a Loose Woman! I feel like I’m the loosest!’ She explained, ‘I’m over 40 now and I really get on with all of them. I love being a guest on the show.’
Katherine, who regularly appears on shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Would I Lie to You?, added, ‘And now, they’ve seen Judi, she’s a comedian and it works.’ Before joking, ‘[They should] populate everything with comedians.’
Over the past few years the popular daytime show has welcomed younger panellists including Judi, 43, Olivia Attwood, 32, and Frankie Bridge, 35, and we’d love to see Katherine added to the mix!
Cat & BenGET SET FOR THIS MORNING
After months of testing out presenters, ITV has finally confirmed that Cat Deeley, 47, and Ben Shephard, 49, will be the new hosts of This Morning.
The pair have been locked in talks for months following the exit of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, and are set to make their debut next month.
Ben’s move will see him leave fellow ITV daytime programme Good Morning Britain after 10 years. While Cat is believed to be stepping back from her role as long-time host on US show So You Think You Can Dance – for which she was believed to earn £43,000 per episode.
This Morning is thought to have tempted her to sign on the dotted line with a reported £550,000 annual salary. The Cat that got the cream!
