A typical day

I wake up at 6am, but I’m a huge fan of the snooze button and will press it several times before getting out of bed to start the day at 6.30am. I’ll try to drink two large glasses of water to rehydrate my body before taking my dog for a walk around London’s Hyde Park, picking up a coffee en route from my favourite local coffee shop. Then, back at home, I’ll do a Peloton ride. I’m not really a breakfast person, so I’ll usually have a banana or a collagen smoothie before walking to work for 10am. I’ll often have back-to-back clients all the way through to 6.30pm, meaning my evenings can be spent replying to emails or finishing off admin before I sit down for dinner. I rarely have time to cook during the week, so I try to meal prep for the week ahead on a Sunday. And I always make sure I wind down before bed.

Skincare philosophy

Less is always more. I’m a huge believer in simplifying your skincare routine and adopting healthy lifestyle habits, such as drinking 2L of water a day.

Main skincare concern?

Preventing pigmentation. I’ve spent most of my life in New Zealand and I have some sun damage. For the most part, I’ve managed to get rid of it, but it’s made me hypervigilant about protecting my skin and I wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen religiously. I’m so obsessed with it that I even formulated my own SPF. Now that I’m in my mid-thirties, I also use a lot of high-potency active ingredients in my skincare routine. When it comes to achieving naturally beautiful skin, it’s about quality over quantity. I make sure the products I use are clinically proven to work, try to buy sustainable products and always look at whether brands are mindful of their impact on the planet.

Day

01

SKINCYCLES DNA SUNSHIELD, £30

This broad-spectrum sunscreen is lightweight and non-comedogenic, meaning it doesn’t block your pores. I love that it absorbs into my skin so easily and that it doesn’t leave a shiny finish. Plus, my makeup just glides on top of it. And it’s SPF130++, so the protection is as strong as it comes.

02

KJAER WEIS + NET SUSTAIN THE CLEANSER 100ML, £76 I’m currently getting laser resurfacing and Morpheus8 treatments on my skin, so I’ve been using this super-gentle cleanser. It removes any impurities without stripping my skin’s moisture barrier (the outermost layer of skin). Made from a blend of cold-pressed oils, such as calendula, camomile and oak root, it helps calm any irritation and leaves my skin with a lovely, radiant glow.
