The sound quality of these earbuds is great. Crystal-clear audio and deep beats can be heard and felt – great for me as I love to listen to drum and bass when running. They have four embedded microphones which, when making and receiving calls, really helps communication to flow and stops muffling. The play time that these earphones gave me – up to 30 hours – is great for the long-distance running that I do over days on the trails. They haven’t failed on me during a run yet. I think that the only downside of these earbuds is that, for me, they felt a little big to sit in my ear perfectly, so I found myself occasionally pushing them in a little bit tighter. But all in all, not a bad product for the price.

These were quick and easy to set up; just open the charging case, press and hold the button on the side of the case until the light flashes white and then it's ready to pair with your phone. The case is lighter and smaller compared to the Pro2, and the buds themselves are lighter too. They’re dust and splash resistant and the microphone noise reduction is amazing. They’re very comfortable to wear, offering a great fit and impressive sound that is both clear and detailed with a defined bass. I didn’t need to fiddle with them or pop them back into place while on the run at all. Both the sound quality and voice clarity are amazing, and the battery life, wireless charging and active noise cancelling are among the best I’ve experienced. Just a touch on the pricey side.

Although I’m a stalwart bone conduction guy, my JLabs have always been my reliable second choice, so I was excited to test these top-of-the-range newbies. They still fit well, set up easily and perform without hitches. They have over 50 hours of playtime and I love the three-option noise-cancelling functionality, especially the one where you can hear what’s going on around you while you’re running. I’m no muso and rather than nitpick about sound quality, I generally just want my run tech to work well for me while I’m out. But stop right there… even I admit that the sound you get from these is far superior, due in part to the dual drivers, which allow both high and low frequencies to come through. Beware Shokz, the
