There appeared to be trouble in paradise for Ben Affleck and J-Lo last week, after the couple were caught in yet another tense exchange.
While attending an event to promote the singer’s newest film, The Mother, J-Lo, 53, and Ben, 50, were pictured looking on edge during an apparent row – both pictured sternly pointing their fingers.
The tense interaction left fans speculating whether their marriage could be on the rocks after less than a year. One fan wrote, “Cracks showing? Not good to be rowing in public”, as another added, “Ben looks absolutely miserable.”
The latest pictures come after months of rumours regarding the couple’s relationship. Earlier this year, they hit headlines after J-Lo was seemingly caught on camera at the Grammys instructing Ben to cheer up.
Despite the fiery pair only tying the knot last summer, their romance dates back decades – with the lovebirds famously reconnecting in 2021 after nearly 20 years apart. The couple first met on the set of Gigli in 2001, while J-Lo was still married to her second husband, Cris Judd, 53.
Shortly after divorcing the dancer, J-Lo went public with Ben – but despite betting engaged a year after meeting, the couple postponed their 2003 wedding before going on to reveal that the “Bennifer” love story was over in January 2004.
Months after ending her engagement to Ben, J-Lo married singer-songwriter Marc Anthony, 54. The pair went on to welcome twins Emme and Max, now 15, before separating in 2014. One year after J-Lo’s new romance, Ben married actress Jennifer Garner, 51 – who appeared looking super-sexy on the cover of Allure magazine last week.
Despite splitting in 2015 after 10 years of marriage, the couple amicably co-parent their children, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11.

One Direction star Liam Payne is back on the market after splitting from his girlfriend Kate Cassidy. The 29-year-old singer has separated from the American model after 10 months together, with Kate, 36, moving out of Liam’s London home and back to the US.
A source close to the couple says, “In truth, trying to juggle Liam’s career and keep their relationship alive was always going to be tricky.”
Rumours swirled of a romance last April, with the lovebirds going public in October.
