Princess Eugenie appeared to be in a romantic and nostalgic – mood as she celebrated five years of marriage to husband Jack Brooksbank.

In a heartwarming video shared to her 1.8 million Instagram followers on the milestone date last Thursday, the mother of two shared previously unseen moments from their wedding, featuring her and Jack’s smiles as they exchanged rings and shared the day with family and friends.

In a week of double celebrations for the family, as her mother Sarah, Duchess of York, turned 64, Eugenie also shared a new portrait of her little family on the beach in Portugal – the first time the foursome have been pictured together publicly.

The 2018 wedding ceremony at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle had all the ingredients of a fairytale wedding.

Senior members of the royal family including Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, as well as A-list stars Kate Moss and Demi Moore, were among those watching as Princess Eugenie exchanged vows with businessman Jack. She wore an elegant silk gown by British fashion designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos to show off and honour her childhood scoliosis scar, later changing into a blush-pink Zac Posen gown for the wedding reception.

Happy family: Five years on from their big day, Eugenie and Jack are having fun in the sun on the beach in Portugal with their sons – baby Ernest bundled up in a towel in his mother’s arms, and two-year-old August clutching fistfuls of sand
