George Studios!

Your My Weekly article in No 5722 (April 23 - Apr 30, 2024) reminded me of my cat, George.

Look closely – it’s not the lion in the centre! It’s George! This was him yawning his head off in his cat tunnel. At the time I thought he looked just like the lion in the Metro Goldwyn Mayer trademark and created this picture.

A Lifelong Fan

My mum Margaret first started reading your magazine as a newly married woman in 1957, at the age of 20, and she has had the magazines every week for 68 years. We live in the beautiful town of Belper, which used to be known as Beaurepaire – something which my ate dad, who died last year, loved telling eryone.
