NOTES

Hat and Scarf are worked in the Tunisian entrelac style. In Tunisian crochet, each row is worked in 2 parts: a forward pass (FwdP) and a return pass (RetP). When working the forward pass, work from right to left adding a loop to your hook for each st worked. On the last st of each row, work into the 2 loops at the edge of the fabric. When working in Tunisian entrelac, rather than working complete row, you will work in Squares or Triangles, which are joined to the previous shape at the end of each FwdP. This is done by working the final st of the row into the 2 loops on row-end on where joining. Each round/row of shapes worked in Tunisian entrelac are referred to as a Tier. The Hat is worked from the top down. Entrelac Triangles are worked in rows around the foundation ch. The Hat begins with a foundation ch, work
