■ A pair of 5mm needles

TENSION
16 sts and 23 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over st st using 5mm needles
16 sts and 32 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over moss st using 4mm needles

FRINGE BAND
Cast on 59 (63: 67: 71) sts with 4mm needles.
Row 1 (WS) K to end.
Eyelet row K3, (yo, k2tog, K2) to end.
Row 3 K to end. Leave these sts on a spare needle.
BODY
Cast on 61 (65: 69: 73) sts with 4mm needles.
Moss st row K1, (P1, K1) to end. Work a further 5 (5: 7: 7) rows in moss st as set.
Change to 5mm needles. Beg with a K row work in st st until Back measures 26 (29: 32: 35) cm from cast-on edge, ending with a P row.
Change to 4mm needles.
PLACE FRINGE BAND
Next row (RS) K1, then with WS of Fringe Band to RS of back, (K one st from Fringe Band tog with one st of Back) 59 (63: 67: 71) times, K1.
Moss st row K1, (P1, K1) to end.
Cont in moss st until Back measures 34 (38: 42: 46)cm from cast-on edge, ending with a WS row.

Cast off 6 sts at beg of next 4 rows and 8 (9: 10: 11) sts at beg of foll 2 rows.
Cast off rem 21 (23: 25: 27) sts.
LEFT FRONT
FRINGE BAND
Cast on 27 (29: 31: 33) sts with 4mm needles.
Row 1 (WS) K to end.
Eyelet row K3 (2: 3: 2), (yo, k2tog, K2) to last 4 (3: 4: 3) sts, yo, k2tog, K2 (1: 2: 1).
Row 3 K to end.
Leave these sts on a spare needle.
BODY
