WE LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU, SO LET US KNOW YOUR OPINIONS, YOUR STORIES – AND ANYTHING THAT MATTERS IN YOUR LIFE
WHAT A GIFT
Hello from Finland! I’ve just received my first issue of w&h and read it from cover to cover. My husband ordered a subscription as a Christmas present to help me brush up on my English. But he couldn’t get the first issue before Christmas and wanted something to wrap up! So he and our three children made a six-page w&h with stories and pictures about our life, and a crossword. The kids were so thrilled they almost forgot to open their own presents!
STAR LETTER
WORTH WAITING FOR
I live in Mission, British Columbia, and every month, I look forward to a monthlate edition of woman&home. As an Englishwoman in Canada, it’s great to read such fabulous stories in your magazine. Please keep them coming, as the contents are enjoyed and valued.
PHENOMENAL NURSES
It was lovely to see 75 years of our NHS celebrated by highlighting the incredible work of three nurses [March]. If you are running a similar feature again, it would be great to see the other fields represented – mental health and learning disability nursing don’t receive the same attention, yet these nurses do phenomenal work.
HAIR HELP
Your hair features normally portray models with long, glossy tresses and advice on the best products. When are you going to produce an article for those of us with short hair, which suits my face and is more practical at 67? What styles can I achieve?
Beauty director Sarah Cooper- White says: ‘Thanks for your letter. Our Hair Awards on page 73 are full of amazing tried-and-tested products that will help hair of any length.’
