Fitness isn’t just about having a healthy heart and lungs, climbing mountains or being able to hold a plank for two minutes without crying (although all of that is wonderful!). It is also – as my chiropractor likes to tell me on each visit – about looking after the balance of your body. All the right muscles should have equal strength to perform a move with an equal amount of effort. Whether it’s reaching for the remote or squatting with a barbell.
