Why go?

The Costa del Sol has reliably hot and sunny summers, and its winters are among the mildest in Europe with little rain. A short flight away from the UK, Marbella is one of the most exclusive cities on this coastline, which stretches over 150km, and its beautiful, clean beaches draw in the world’s glitterati year after year.

Go all-inclusive

Club Med is synonymous with hassle-free, all-inclusive family holidays, and the recently refurbished Magna Marbella is no exception. Situated at the foot of the Sierra Blanca mountains, it’s an oasis set in 12 acres of landscaped gardens. There are five swimming pools, including an adults-only zen pool on the secluded top terrace, along with plenty of sports courts, two restaurants and clubs for children up to 17. As it’s a mere stone’s throw from the picturesque Old Town, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll down its flower-lined streets.

Tickle your taste buds

The food is magnificent with international cuisine and local delicacies on offer. At the self-service Suenos restaurant, you can watch the chefs prepare dishes in front of you, such as paella, Iberian pork, sashimi salad and pasta carbonara. Then enjoy sea views from both the terrace and dining room.

Tierra is the gourmet lounge option, offering à la carte dining (a reservation is required) and special dishes such as lobster and Wagyu beef at an extra cost. Drinks are included and the wine, cocktail and spirit offerings are vast.

Pamper yourself

The in-house spa is a must, with an indoor/outdoor relaxation room, luxurious swinging armchairs and daybeds, plus a classic hammam. There are many beauty treatments available, inspired by ancestral knowledge from around the globe and traditional medicine.
