See in the new season with these make-up trends to know

Glowing skin

There can be lots of things standing between us and healthy-looking skin, with late nights, hormones and pollution just some of the culprits. If your complexion is feeling lacklustre, fake it until you make it like Viola Davis, with glow-giving base products. Start with concealer – you’ll feel instantly better with bugbears blurred and won’t need to rely on such a heavy base.

Laura Mercier Real Flawless Weightless Perfecting Concealer, £28.50, Space NK, and Avon Make Up + Care 3-in-1 Serum Foundation SPF30, £12, avon.uk.com, make a great team.

Catrice Super Glue Brow Styling Gel, £4.29, justmylook. com, holds brows in place brilliantly and has a tiny brush that makes it easy to distribute the product onto any areas that need filling.
