Ready to move after baby? Postnatal fitness apps not only provide safe and effective exercise plans, but also ensure you feel supported when sweating from home

Carifit+

£225 for Carifit+ & 12-month app subscription, getcarifit.com Offering something completely unique, the Carifit+ is a baby carrier that combines with the parenting Carifit App. Founded by ante and postnatal fitness expert and dad-of-two, Vern Hill, Carifit began as an in-person exercise class for fun workouts that provide parents with the support they need to get stronger with baby.

It is an investment buy, but the carrier itself can support a little one from birth to two years, so it’s a piece of kit that will last. When you open the box, you’ll get a QR code to unlock the 12-month app subscription, which will take you straight to the Posture+ fitness advice, ensuring a comfortable fit from the off. You’ll also find on-demand baby wearing workouts for every fitness level. We love that it gives parents the opportunity to exercise with baby in tow!

LDN Mums Fitness

£24.99 monthly, ldnmumsfitness.com Women’s personal trainer, Sarah Campus, has created an ever-growing bank of mum-friendly workouts, including pre- and postnatal, and bundled them up into this app. Focusing on four key pillars – nutrition, exercise, hydration and sleep – this PT-inyour-pocket will help you keep on top of your fitness and health goals, no childcare required! Depending what stage of your post-children journey you’re at, there’s HIIT, cardio, core, recipes and even a meal plan to suit your needs. Free for the first 30 days, it costs £24.99 per month for the full app, or £9.99 monthly for the Accountability section only.

Power of Mum

£63 (with code NEWYEAR), nicolechapman.com Power of Mum is a six-week on-demand fitness programme from PT Nicole Chapman. The programme includes a one-to-one chat with Nicole to help establish your goals, four 30-minute workouts a week (Lower Body, Upper Body and Full Body, then either Cardio, Pilates, Barre or Yin Yoga), a live nutrition Q&A, plus around-the-clock support from a qualified PT. It’s designed with the chaos of mum life in mind, and so provides a good motivator to ensure there’s time for you among it all.

There’s also a WhatsApp group for support, plus email check-ins from Nicole to help you feel supported and motivated through the struggles. Just what new mums need!
