Hello, December has arrived! Anyone who loves their food has plenty to celebrate in this, the final month of the year, because sharing food with loved ones is part of what makes Christmas so special. However you spend the festive season, my guess is that it’s going to involve at least a little indulgence. Whether that means opening your advent calendar every morning to a small sweet treat, or planning the world’s biggest Christmas dinner, food is at the centre of so many of our festive celebrations. That’s why we wanted to make sure you don’t have to look too far for culinary inspiration; turn to page 22 for the start of our Christmas section. From Mince Pies (p.38) and the amazing Christmas Pudding Cake you can see on the cover (p.42), to a selection of cheeses and drinks, we have got you covered this month. We’re also taking a closer look CBD oil; chances are you’ve heard of it, but maybe you don’t know exactly what it is. We’ll talk you through it, and provide some recipe ideas for how to incorporate it into your daily diet. And we’re rounding out the recipes with some sweet and savoury puddings, and winter family favourites that will warm the bellies of everyone around the dinner table this December.
