It’s official, we’re in full festive mode here at PBHQ. For me, as soon as my mid-month birthday is out of the way, Christmas is fair game. I’m cueing up my favourite Christmas films (It’s a Wonderful Life, White Christmas and Carol, amongst others), finding the best seasonal playlists on Spotify, and of course, starting to make foodie plans for the most decadent of celebrations. The November issue of PlantBased feels like the perfect time for us to start our countdown to Christmas; we’re letting you know what should be on your shopping list, sharing some amazing advent calendars, and also providing some recipes for you to start making edible gifts – the best presents are always homemade! With Diwali on the horizon, we’re also hoping to inspire you with recipes for some delicious curries, as well as all those extra bits and pieces that make an Indian meal so special. And as the temperatures drop, our Winter Warmers will keep your bellies filled and your hearts full. Rounding out the recipe picks this month are a selection of puddings, and some five-ingredient dishes that will mean no long shopping lists and some easy ideas. Every month, we’re so excited to deliver a new issue to you, and we love hearing your feedback.
