THE REAL ME

Radio presenter Sara Cox, 48, lives in London with her husband, Ben Cyzer, and children Lola, 18, Isaac, 14, and Renee, 12

What are you like first thing?

Annoyingly cheery. I get straight out of bed and into the day. It probably drives people a bit mad but I am full of energy.

What’s your worst habit?

Sometimes I take my disposable contact lenses out and put them on my dressing table overnight and they turn into crispy little shards. I know it’s disgusting.

If you’re home alone, what do you do?

What would you say is your most treasured possession?

I have two things both connected to my nana. One is a really beautiful jewellery pouch that is black satin with Japanese flowers on it. I roll my jewellery up in it when I go on holiday. I also have a ring that was my nana’s. It’s probably worth tuppence but it has great sentim
